Beginners’ Guide to Insanity Workout
As the name suggests, ‘insanity workouts’ is a collection of the most difficult and tiresome exercises you would have ever come across. However, reviews suggest that they are worth all the effort and pain since they deliver good results. These workouts are quite rigorous and are therefore inappropriate for people with physical and mental ailments.
The beginners shall start with the plyometric cardio circuit for a little above half an hour. This will act as the warm up for the exercises. This should be followed by cardio routines closely followed by some jumping exercises. You should them switch to other types of kicks such as mummy kicks, Heisman and butt kicks to heat up your body. You can start with slow pace and keep increasing the pace of exercises in subsequent rounds.
Once the warm up is over, you can switch to stretching to prepare your muscles for more rigorous exercises. The set includes power squats, ski downs, drills and mountain climbers. You might find the first set of exercises extremely painful, especially if you have not been working out regularly. Then next step would be to begin with muscle rotation and keep moving them before taking a short break.
The next set of exercises includes ski abs and in out abs in addition to drills of the next level. By the end of the next half an hour, you are bound to feel that all your muscles have been used and you do not have energy left. However, this is just the beginning stage as you will be infused with new energy once you get used to the exercise and incorporate them in your routine.
