Alright, so you want to get lean and ripped, and you'll do pretty much anything to get there, well that's where the Insanity Workout comes into play.  It's a completely extreme workout program that delivers results quicker than ever.  It's a 60 day body transformation, that will get you as ripped as if you'd been working out for a year.  No weights or bulky equipment are needed, your own body provides resistance.  You only need to spend less than one hour a day working out, the only big thing you will need is will power.  You'll need enough will power to keep going even when you feel like quitting.

But before you get started, it might be good to know about the man behind all this insanity, Shaun T Insanity.  He's a Native of Jersey, but now he's staying in New York.  He started out with his training from dancing.  He has a strong love of dance and all things physical, he got his BS in Sports Science and a minor in Theater/Dance.

Now Shaun isn't just a trainer, but he has also appeared in many different musicals, such as The Ten Commandments, Pippin, and Applause.  He is also a very talented choreographer, and has appeared on TV shows such as Six Feet Under.  His First creation as far as fitness, was the program called Hip Hop Abs, a workout program specifically designed to target your abs.  It quickly became the number one fitness program on television.  After the success of his first program he quickly began making more, and was soon a fitness phenom.

Max Interval Training is the secret to the Insanity Workout.  Interval training features long periods of moderate exercise followed by short bursts  of intense effort, and is known to be extremely effective.  With the Insanity Workout you use the max amount of effort for every exercise for long periods of time, followed by short periods of rest.  This means that every time you start working, you do reps until you can't anymore!  In each interval you alternate between killer  cardio, Plyometrics, sports drill, resistance training, and core exercises.

The nutrition guide that comes with the Insanity Workout, encourages you to eat 5 meals a day (every 2 1/2 – 3 hours).  There are a total of 50 recipes as well, which is 10 recipes for every meal of the day.  For the first month they encourage you to eat 300-500 calories per meal, this is because you are just starting out.  For the Second month you wanna eat more, your metabolism is working a lot harder and faster because of the insanity workouts!  You'll also need more fuel for the  rougher workouts you'll be doing.  The Nutrition guide is also beginner friendly, it has a ton of good suggestions for people just starting out on their workout adventure.

There are many different suggestions for food substitutes, and they are all laid out by order of type of food (ex. dairy, grain, fruit, etc…).  And, also there is a troubleshooting guide to answer important questions, like maybe "what should i do if i feel hungry?"  Overall the Nutrition guide is good for beginner and experts, and is an extreme way to help you get in shape.

The main key ingredient to this workout is the well balanced mix of cardio and strength training.  The cardio pushes your body to lose fat, while the strength training
and nutrition guide  help you back on that muscle.  This workout broke down is basically replacing fat with muscle, and all in 60 days!
