Muscle Confusion Workouts – The Root Of P90X

How often do you feel like you do the same workout routine, week after week, but never see consistent results?  If you’ve been going to the gym, doing the same exercises, the same number of reps, and using the same weights for longer than 4 weeks, then it’s time to shake things up.

This is exactly where I was just recently.  I’ve always thought that as long as I’m doing something, I should consistently loose weight.  Well I was wrong.  I thought running on the treadmill or getting on the elliptical was enough.  Well for me, it wasn’t.  It wasn’t enough to keep my body muscles moving and growing.  This is why I picked up Tony Horton’s P90X fitness program.  This workout program is the “mother of all” muscle confusion workouts.

For those of you who don’t know, muscle confusion is the principle of restructuring your workout routines, so that your body never gets use to your workouts.  The idea is to keep your body guessing and never allow it to figure out what your doing.  This means, you will never reach a plateau! So confusion is actually a good thing.

P90X is the perfect program for someone who has a hard time dealing with plateaus and wants a workout routine that will push your body to the max.
