P90X Home workout program schedule options

P90X workout program has 3 separate routines and you can choose depending on your physical condition. The first is the “Classic” schedule. Most of the people start from this option. The classic work out schedule requires one and a half hour workout in a day. The longest workout in the entire schedule is Yoga X. It is a plan for working out 6 days in a week and there is more focus on Cardio and resistance training. This plan is ideal for people who are just starting to workout.

The second option is called “Lean” schedule. This has more focus on cardio than resistance.  This option is great for people who are initially focusing on weight loss rather than building muscles.  It focuses more on burning calories and reducing fat. Similar to classic schedule, the lean schedule also requires one and half hour of work out everyday.

The third schedule is called “Doubles” schedule.  This is the ultimate P90X work out schedule designed for those who are already in shape but ready for more.  This requires more dedication and more time. You need to set aside 2 hours and 20 minutes per day to match the schedule. The basic difference between classic and doubles is the addition of all the cardio. Doubles is much more intense than classic.
