What are your P90X goals?
Many people go through life, day by day, without any idea of where there going. If you ask them a simple question like, “What do you want to accomplish this year?” Or, “What are your short term and long term goals?” They’ll probably reply with, “I don’t know.”
Goals are very instrumental for success. Most people put off writing down there goals for tomorrow or the next day(I’m a victim of this). But tomorrow or the next day never comes. And your goals never get written down.
Now, if your like me, you’re either starting or in the middle of your P90x fitness journey. Have you written down what you want to accomplish during your 90 day journey? I know you have specifics in your mind, but that won’t cut it. You need concrete numbers to refer to each month. The reason this is important is because you always want the option to go back and look at how much progress you’ve made. Sometimes looking in the mirror doesn’t cut it. There will be times when you need hard core numbers to show your progress.
So, write your goals down and make sure they are realistic. Setting realistic goals saves you from disappointment. You don’t want to set goals that only GOD himself will have to help you achieve. For example, setting a goal of, “Lose 40lbs in 3 months”, is absolutely unrealistic. Even you could lose that much weight in 3 months, it would be unhealthy.
